Since around June 10, on Youtube, I noticed that people have been wondering about smokes(or steam?)and flashes that Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant live cam captured more than several nights. Smokes are shooting up from reactor No. 4 and some time looks from No. 3 as well and bright flashes later on.

There is no talk on main stream media on this and no one is explaining what these smokes and flashes are.

Shortened to each 3 minutes video, following 5 videos are hourly live camera of 5 hours from June 26, 8:00PM to June 27, 1:00 AM, 2011. (If you have no patience, after the videos, there is a link to color edited and shortened version of the same time frame by a blogger):

Following link is “color edited and time lapsed version of the four hours from 21:00 to 01:00 at the 27th of June.” by the blogger: The  same time frame as the above first 4 videos.

And this is not one night occurring.

During next night June 27,  9:00 PM to June 28 , 2:00AM, live camera captured the same thing:

You can watch all archived live cam hourly video at YouTube Channel
fuku1live: is archiving Fukushima Daiichi plan live camera with permission from TEPCO:

“Movie-archive for 24 hours of the Daily Fukushima nuclear power plant live camera.
The live feed of 1hour will be shortened in about 3min and it records.
Upload Timing is 1h per 1 movies(1/h ago).”

Apart from the above nightly smoke and flashes, I came across following:

MOX fuel Fukushima Reactor number 3 spewing BLACK SMOKE

Half way through, it shows NHK footage of black and white smoke rising from No. 3 reactor.

It seems No. 3 reactor started spewing smoke on Monday and on Tuesday it is dying down. Cause of the smoke is unknown according TEPCO personell.
